Here's how it started. I had minecraft on my school computer and I wanted to get it on my home laptop (a macbook air), so I put it on a flash drive and put it on my home computer. All seemed well until I tried to open it. First it had the username screen, which is normal. I didn't have a username so I just clicked force update and continued. Then the screen went black and it didn't load. I even tried putting in my username from my school computer and it didn't work. I have the newest Java update, so I don't understand what is going on. Can someone please help me?
Why Won't Minecraft work On my Macbook?

You can't just copy a program-any program-by putting it on a flash drive and then loading it onto another computer, it doesn't work because you need certain files that aren't there in program itself. You have to get a new copy of Minecraft specifically for your Mac/

It's a Mac. That's why it doesn't work. They're terrible for gaming, only good for productivity like college work. Sorry, lol.
