I was thinking about getting a new computer that's under 1500 dollars and these were the two computers I was deciding between. I would like to download minecraft onto the computer but I don't know which is better. I'm not planning to record gameplay, just to keep in mind. I would also like to know the pros and cons, just the important things for example the performance of each one.

They both EASILY run Minecraft. My brother has an Air and I have a Pro. If you can, get a retina display MacBook. They're as fast as an Air, just a little heavier and the retinas have a MUCH higher air quality.
