For about 4 years i have a Toshiba laptop and its giving up. The battery is dying and it is just not working.(even if i change the battery. I was searching for a new laptop and this is what i narrowed it down to. I want me computer to be powerful (ex. Edit videos, game, and other things) i usually play Garry's mod, civilization 5, minecraft, skyrim, ect. I also want to have a good laptop to make 3d modeling and rendering 3d images. For you see, i'm starting a youtube channel and i want to record my screen, ex. Doing let's plays. Please Help ME. I DON'T KNOW WHICH TO BUY. I CAN'T DECIDE.(additional notes. I do wan't to carry this computer around and the operating system does not matter. Also you can suggest other computers that are good for this.

If you play Skyrim(Great game by the way!), you have to have a windows based PC. A MAC(all MACs) is not for gaming.
Alienwares are partnered with Dell now and that is a VERY excellent choice for all the things you want to accomplish. You can also get the Dell XPS series, for designing and gaming.

From everything you have said a Windows Laptop would be better for you, not nesseceraily an Alienware would be needed though, there are cheaper laptops out there that would still do everything you want and more.
But if you wanted to go down the mac line you can now install windows on a separate partition on a mac hard drive to use all windows programs, admittedly the performance is dimished slightly but i can still play most current games on it.
