What's the point of Minecraft? - 1

I play singleplayer and its starting to get boring. Is minecraft just building and collecting?

Minecraft is a Sandbox game where you let your own imagination take over and express your creativity. It is mostly collecting and building. It's constantly being updated by Notch and new things are being added so that you can have the most fun out of Minecraft.

Minecraft is a game to kind of see what you would do if you were stuck in a weird place that is pixelated and has enemies that no one has seen before, it's kind of like a survival stimulator.
While also being a survival stimulator, it can be a giant sandbox, it can inspire people to make giant floating houses or a hidden under water house, it depends how you look at minecraft, is it collecting and building or is it discovering new things that will increase your creativity?

Building yes, the point of minecraft is to open up and be creative. You can build whatever you want in the vast open world. I'm not sure if you bought it but if you did join online servers and build stuff, people use plugins and mods to make the gaming experience even more fun! Trust me its fun, but it can get boring at times… But thats why they made TNT!

You build whatever you want using resources from raw land, and have to create a house and expand on that to whatever you want to survive
