Should I get a PS Vita or a Nintendo 3DS?

I'm looking into buying a PS Vita or a Nintendo 3DS and I was wondering which one I should get. These are the things that I look for in a handheld gaming system and games.

1. It's graphics are late PS2 game quality or better (think Spyro: A New Beginning or Spyro A Hero's Tail)
2. There are at least 100 or more games that I can purchase
3. There are at least some RPGs that aren't turnbased
4. There are games like Final Fantasy, Call of Duty, The Elder Scrolls, The Sims, Naruto, Spyro, Sly Cooper, and Minecraft
5. I can either cross-play or play games made for previous gaming systems
6. I can play games online with my friends

I care more about gameplay than I do graphics, it's just PS1 or pixelated graphics hurt my eyes because I can't see well. I'm really into RPGs and stuff like that. I need to decide by tomorrow (March 7th) so please try to be as accurate as possible as to which you think would be a better purchase

Added (1). Also, please do not give me an "I don't know go with your gut" answer. Or a useless answer. Be serious as it is a waste of my time and yours.

If you want those kind of games then go with the Vita. I don't think Elder scrolls is on there but the games you want seem to be edging towards the vita.

However, I think it wouldn't hurt to experiment and try different games. I'm guessing you've already had experience with those kind of games, so why not to the 3DS? There are tons of great games, more than the Vita by far.

However if those are definitely the games you want, then the Vita is the right choice, although I recommend you look at the game library yourself first.

I was saving up for one of the two. I have a PS3 and an old NDS and GBA thought "well I already have a PS3 why would I want a PS Vita" so I'm gonna get a 3DS whenever I get $150 more dollars.

As of November 2014, the 3DS only has 604 games, while the PS Vita has over 1,000. More games=more fun.

Nintendo 3ds has 3d screen and more games. In November of 2014 it has around 600, but now (March 2015) has nearly 1,000. I think 3ds is better because it has two screens and the top screen is *slightly* bigger.

Yeah, I'd say 3ds (bias aside) its not a better entertainment system, but where it matters it wins, in games (well that's my opinion)

Get the psvita, there are over 900 games you can download when you include the ps1 games and psp games and it has near ps3 quality graphics and in some cases actual ps3 quality graphics in games like final fantasy x s2 remaster and killzone mercenary
it also has full online play ( also cross platform play with psvita vs ps3 is supported titles ) and can connect a bluetooth headset and bluetooth speakers, has front and rear cameras and real twon stick controls

Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo 3DS would be the superior of the two, there's a reason its out selling the Vita, better games and 3D(without needing the glasses).

Also, all the games you mentioned are available on the 3DS(except for The Elder Scrolls, I think).

Also, on your fifth point, the 3DS is backwards-compatible with All DS games, however while the Vita is
backwards-compatible 'most' PSP games it lacks a UMD drive(the drive that plays the PSP discs), which
limits this capability to those titles which have been digitally released on the PlayStation Network via the PlayStation Store.

Also, if you count both the DS and 3DS games, the 3DS has well over 2,000 games compatible with it(and that's not to mention the Virtual Console games which adds about another 200 games to the list.

EDIT: Also on your 3'rd point, if you would like a recommendation on a good RPG, Pokemon seems to be
out selling everything else on the 3DS at the moment, I'm not sure how old you are but even if you're
an adult, don't think those games are for kids only, a lot of adults and teens play it as well, maybe even
more so then kids do, the battling element of the game is some what turn-based but it doesn't really feel
like a turn-based game on the whole(at least I don't think so anyway, worth a try if you have never played a
pokemon game before, especially if you know at least one other person that also has a copy of a pokemon
game, but if not it still has online play).
