Minecraft Nintendo Switch and 3DS Concerns?

I know this isn't the best place to ask but has there been any more news on the better together update for the switch or when the 3DS version comes out for Europe?

Switch version of Minecraft Better Together is "this winter". Nothing more is known other than that.
