Well I saw people playing on minecraft and different servers on YouTube, but I was just wondering how? Do you need to buy anything from the store? Do you buy it online? How do you get on these multiplayer servers?

Hi, so me and a friend want to play minecraft together via the 'LAN' setting however (bear in mind we're connected to the same network) can't seem to connect as it says 'can't reach the server' which doesn't make sense because my friend is only downstairs. Although I'm not sure the exact area of LAN I'm pretty sure we can play together if we're within around 15 meters or so away from each other. Can anyone help? We've tried direct connection and everything but this still does not seem to work?

Hi I'm trying to build a simple home server for me to host minecraft for my friends and I and to run a website My budget is around $600 but I can fluctuate. I prefer to build one since I've built pcs in the past and you seem to get more power for the price when you build one your self. This isn't a really big server just to host a minecraft server with about 10 people. Can you please tell me what I need to build it and how to connect etc it to where I can control it via FTP.

Hi! For a couple of years now I've been wanting become a programmer when I've finished my education (A-levels and university), and a big problem for me is that after I finish Uni I have no idea what to do next.
Recently I've started working on some projects for a friend of a friend making some plugins for his minecraft server (I'm actually getting paid for this - quite pleased about that). But I'd rather stay away from freelance as it just doesn't suite me.
The bottom line is this, I've got my education sorted (A's and A*'s) and I'm definitely going to university but I would like some tips on what else I should do.

Hi, I was just wondering, How can I run 2 or more Minecraft Hamachi Server's at the same time on the same Computer.
I'm running a couple Bukkit Minecraft servers and they use cmd as console. My question is it possible to write a bat code that types /stop into every one of my servers i have open. I know its not essential but i was just wondering.
I know i've done all the portforwarding correctly, i don't use hamachi cause thats ****. And I'm using the correct ip. I can connect using localhost, but not my default gateway or external ip:/ help please?
I also have previously been able to host a minecraft server, but once i changed routers, its been screwed up so that NOBODY could join without being in the local area and using localhost.
Added (1). I have re-port forwarded the server, and i've checked my ip several times after the router switched, and its stayed the same, and yes, the ipv4 address has changed and i've added that to the portforwarding, and every thing seems in check but i still can't connect with the things:/
I use the cracked TeamExtreme version. Not that I'm cheap, I just dn know how to pay since I dn have a credit card and live outside USA. Anw, I can't connect to any server without getting an error msg.
