MineCraft on PS3, no horses?

So, I just bought the PS3 version and noticed there's no horses… There aren't even horse spawning eggs. No emeralds, no new wood, it's like I'm laying from day one.

When will this change? Are they going to give us the updates, like the update that changed the world and so-on?

When does MineCraft come out for PS3?

Really looking forward to this because I upgraded my OS and now the game seems to crash when i have my server running not to mention that most of the people i know say the game runs slow on there computers. So i just want to get it on ps3 will i be able to play it over Christmas break.

(For some reason thats the only game that crashes the rest actually run better than before way smoother)

When is Minecraft coming to PS Vita?

Added (1). It's already been announced Minecraft WILL be released tomorrow for Playstation 3 so obviously they do have a partnership, but the PS Vita version is scheduled in 2014 but I was wondering if anyone knew of an exact date of release.
