Is there a way besides creative mode on minecraft to find diamonds fast?

I play minecraft on my ps3 a lot. I was wondering if there was any way i could get them faster, without using creative mode. I usually mine at y12 as they layer on the map, I've been told y12 through y16 are good places to find them and i do find them but not very much. Any tips, tricks, ect. On how to find them faster? Or anything else like iron, gold, ect? I know every world is different so there may not be an answer to this, but, worth a shot.

How to get minecraft pc after ps3 version bought?

When i bought minecraft ps3 edition, and i started playing, it said sometjing about "i bought it for the playstation you can get it for the pc for no cost, go here for more details", i don't think thats exactly how they said it, and i don't remember where to go, if it is true that i can get it, where?

Is ps3 minecraft ever going to be unlimited world?

I mean, it kinda ruins it for me knowing that i can only explore a maps worth of world, are they ever gonna either make the worlds bigger or make them unlimited or are they keeping it like how it is forever?

PS3 minecraft update didn't fix anything?

The update just recently came out and it claims it fixed the constant error of "host exited the game" when trying to play multiplayer but when I tried to join my friends game it kept saying it over and over again, we turned our ps3's off and on and even reset our internet connection but nothing, it just keeps saying the same thing and it's very frustrating because I was excited that this would fix that issue but it seems to have just made it worse, please help and give any possible solutions
