How the hell do I play with a single friend on Minecraft PE?

I have absolutely no clue how to use external servers, I don't know they want my ip address or someone else's. No idea what the damn port number is or do I roll with the one already there? They've made this way more complicated that it was, all you had to do was turn multiplayer on in your new world and have a friend on and you were golden. P.s. Some friends don't even appear online when i know they are because they're right beside me.

Tonight I'm creating a new survival world. And I was wondering if anybody would want join. If any of you want to join, Please DO NOT STEAL ANY OF MY RESOURCES/ ITEMS. Every person I play with is too lazy to gather their own resources and end up taking all of my stuff and I'm getting tired of it, so please don't steal mine or anyone else's stuff. Also… NO GRIEFERS OR TROLLERS ARE ALLOWED IN MY SURVIVAL WORLD.

P.S. I'll be starting the world at about 10:00pm tonight because right now I'm still stuck on homework and I have chores do as well and other things my parents might want me to do around the house.

Why can't I brew in Minecraft Pocket Edition?

I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm a noob, and very far from becoming a pro. In survival I was able to make a brewing stand, and when I put the Nether Wart in with the three water bottles it won't make an Awkward Potion.

Why does minecraft pocket edition lag loads when I'm connected to Wi-Fi?

Every time I play mcpe connected to the Internet it takes ages to load up the game and crashes really easily. Like earlier today it took almost 10 mins just to get on the title screen. But when I turn the Wi-Fi off ithe works normally and dosent crash. This happens to all my friends when they connect to my Wi-Fi as well. I've tried closing all my apps, I've tried turning the Wi-Fi off and on again. Nothing seems to be working. It's definitely something to do with the Wi-Fi. Can anyone help?

I keep getting plain worlds on Minecraft pc?

So I play the Minecraft app on my phone but I keep making worlds with random seeds, and every world they give me only have 1 biome: just trees and grass. There aren't any snow biome, no savanah biome, no roof forest biome, no mushroom biome, just a world full of trees and grass and sometimes a lake. I barely get any villages and I didn't get any woodland mansions. The worlds they give me are plain and boring. With the console edition, I get a colorful world full of various biomes, villages, caves, strongholds, mansions, etc but Minecraft pocket edition only give me 1 boring land type. Any way to enable all biomes for a world or is there a setting I need?

I bought Minecraft pe, but Google play says I didn't

I bought Minecraft pe a long time ago, but Google says I didn't. When a new update was released, I decided to check it out only to find that my game would not update. Next, I checked my installed apps only to find that it was not there. I thought that maybe I needed to refresh the app, so I uninstalled it. ( Yes I know, stupid) when I went to reinstall Minecraft pe, Google play game me the option to buy it. What should I do?
