I'm trying to create an end portal in minecraft pe however it is not working

I've followed all the instructions; the portal blocks are facing inside, the eyes of ender are in, but it isn't activating!

Its hard to say without seeing your portal.

ALl I can suggest is:
> Are you sure its the right shape? With a 3x3 space inside?
> Are you sure the blocks are facing the right way? WIth the green tabes on the top of the blocks facing inwards?
> You also need to make sure that the Eyes of Ender are added the right way around. Basically both BLocks and Eyes need to be placed from INSIDE the Portal area.
