I have a windows7 pavilion enterainment notebook. And when i play games on steam some of them require me to press buttons like F3 however on my keyboard F3 changes the brightness, but won't let me actually use it for a different purpose, like in minecraft i can't see my coodinates because all the button does is change my brightness.
I'm trying to use a hacked client for minecraft. I'd consider myself a pretty experienced hacked client user but for some reason I can't get any client to work this update.
First, I did replace the.jar and.json successfully in the version folder under a new folder in the name of the new client. When I open the minecraft launcher, I create a new profile and select the hacked client under the version tab. However, when I try to run the game, the game launcher goes away for a second, as if loading the game, and then reappears. This happens every time!
Does anyone know the solution to this? Any help is appreciated and the best answer will be given points!

I'm going to be making a youtube channel dedicated to gaming. Mainly minecraft. I can't think of any usernames. I want something that starts with an unusual letter. Like z, q, x, v, ect. Names I like, but are taken: Vecks, zisteau. Both cool names. Make no sense, but sound cool. The name doesn't have to make sense, but has to be pronounceable.
This kid I know wanted to game share Minecraft with me. I didn't really want to cuz I think game sharing is gay so I just told him I forgot the password. He asked for the email so I just made one up. Later I was at a friends house and I tried logging into it and it said the password and email were wrong. Luckily, the kid sent me what he changed it to. I don't really mind but how the hell did he do it? Please help so I can prevent this from happening again.
Added (1). There's no way he guessed both the email and password… In about 10 minuets? I never gave him the real email for it. How did he reset my information?
So I was messing around with my Minecraft profiles and I wanted to remove them all because I had too many but I realised I shouldn't have done so… :/ So now, I can only play the demo. But to make matters worse, I entered in my email wrong so now I can't even migrate my account in Mojang! Yay!
Does anyone know how I can fix these problems?
I get so scared. Even though it's on peaceful, I'm scared I will fall into lava and die. How can I stop that fear?

Okay, so I bought a laptop today and has AMD Quad-Core Processor A4-5000, 8GBDDR3 L Memory and 1000GB HDD. I've been playing No More Room in Hell and runs smooth as a rock, but minecraft runs at about 20-30fps and this is doing my nut in. I can't figure it out exactly because I can't find out how to show the data and all that stuff in the game. So how do I solve this bloody problem?
Added (1). It is a good machine for gaming, because it runs Civ V well, Skyrim mediocre, but Minecraft should be spot on.
