Why does minecraft freeze for a few seconds then carry on as normal?

I have 8gb of ram 1.6ghz quad core 1tb hard drive and an amd radeon 7600g graphics card which has 758mb of video memory just on the card, is there any way I can fix this?

Is Gigabyte GTX 550ti 1024MB a good Graphics card?

Minecraft compass doesn't point to bed?

I have this glitch that my compass points to Nowhereland instead of my bed or house. Then when I want to go adventure or find stuff outside, I always get lost.
But if I die I will respawn at my house so its like the only way to
get home and all my stuff are gone. How do I fix this?

Gaming Video / Graphics card Suggestion under 100$?

Sorry I can't get the specs of atm. But my general computer is good except the graphics card so all I need is a good graphics card. Um, my main game is Minecraft, and Counter Strike (GO).
In minecraft, i get around 25-40 fps, but i want atleast a good stable 100 ( While recording.
So if you guys can give me a suggestion it would be nice, Thanks.

I have java installed but when i try to open my forge it isn't there?

I have tried far and wide to find it I even tried right clicking on the forge, pressing open with… Choose default program. Then I searched "other programs" and lastly I clicked browse. I typed "java" in search and it said that java can't be found but when I open my minecraft, the game works fine. I have absolutely no clue why it is not showing up and I really need help.

Added (1). UPDATE: I have deleted my java and reinstalled it but it still isn't working right. This time it is there but when I try to open it, it has a little black screen that opens for barley a second and then disappears. Sometimes I try to open it and nothing happens at all

Is this build good for decent gaming?
