Deleting minecraft files?

My son's laptop had some issues so Minecraft isn't working properly. If we delete all the Minecraft files and reload them, will he lose everything he's acquired in the game? He has a paid version. What about Pixelmon that he plays in Minecraft? Will he lose everything in Pixelmon as well?

Suggestions for a name of a world where evil entities reside?

So there are evil beings living in another realm and I was trying to think of a good name for it that hasn't been used in other books or films. I like names like The Other, The Further, and The Nether, but obviously they've already been used by other people in various video games or movies (Insidious, Minecraft), so does anyone have any suggestions? I don't have a preference, just whatever you think sounds good. I really appreciate it.

What video game fan art should I draw for art competition?

What should I know before switching from Mac to PC?

Hi. I've been using Mac computers all my life but recently I've been wanting a PC since so many videogames are made for PCs. I currently use my Mac to play League of Legends, Hearthstone, Dofus, Minecraft, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, and some other small games. My computer's specs are as follows:

Mac OSX version 10.6.8
Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

I want to get a computer that can run League of Legends, Skyrim, Aura Kingdom, Dragon's Nest, Maplestory, and any other small games optimally so I'm saving up for a PC that is good for gaming, I'm thinking a cyberpower Fangbook (Needs to be a laptop).
Another factor influencing my decision is that I have been using macs all my life and so has my family. I'm not sure how to go about using a PC since I've heard that they are not user friendly and can get viruses (never gotten a virus in my life). I also am on a budget, optimally below 800-900 dollars since I'm only 15 and don't have a job. (money is hard to come by for an unemployed teenager).
Any information to influence my decision or computer suggestions?

Which video game has the best player-edited Wiki?

I'd have to say Minecraft. People who edit it's wiki put Really lots of effort into it, making it detailed, broad but concise and easy to read. Most other games though have half-assed wikis that are no good.

Is this Gaming PC good enough?

I'm currently looking into purchasing a gaming pc, I'm not looking for a majorly good pc I'm just looking for one that will handle games such as Minecraft, Euro Truck Simulator 2013, Arma 3 and Battlefield 3/4. After searching on the internet I found this gaming PC, it is called a CyberPower Empire Elite. I just wanted to know if the specs are good enough to handle playing games and recording at the same time.
