Okay, so i'm using the latest version of forge (so i can use shaders) on minecraft version 1.7.2, and i start the game as administrator. Then i look in task manager, and i see that javaw.exe is running… But there's no minecraft window. Anyone know why this is?

I sometimes play this game while at work and since online games are blocked here, I usually play through a VPN. There isn't any particular policy regarding playing via a VPN so that is not an issue. The problem is the lag that occurs when I connect through a free VPN service. Any tips on how to fix this would be appreciated.
I wanna install a resource pack for my minecraft game on my linux laptop but so i install the resource pack there's a folder in minecraft folder named resource pack i have to put it in it so the.minecraft folder is in users file and i can't find users file please help. And if you got no answers then iwanna find application data file and i have searched in the menu.

I play minecraft ALOT, and I wanted to make videos. As you can tell by my name I'm a girl, so this whole process of getting subs will be very tedious. I recorded some videos, but I didn't like them so I took them down because my microphone was horrible. I bought a recording software for the PC, and I just ordered a turtle beach headset, so I have the whole microphone situation settled out. The recording software is good quality, but it doesn't have an editing software; I could really use a free one. I'm a quiet person, but I'm not afraid or shy to speak out. Since I'm a girl, only one of my female friends plays games, but she abhors minecraft, so I can't record with a friend. Is there anyone who has about 500+ subs out there to give me some advice?
