I'm struggling to find a game i can really get into?

The Pokemon series. For real. I'm playing Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Emerald, and I'm about to start Pokemon Platinum. You can't go wrong with the series. Ever.

Or you can play Ace Combat. My personal recommendations are Ace Combat 4, Ace Combat 5, and Ace Combat Zero. Very high replay value.

If shooters are your thing, go with Star Wars Battlefront. The original. When I was a kid, I got a good laugh crushing Jedis and Sith with vehicles and running them over with speeder bikes.
Or Call of Duty 4 or MW2. Or Battlefield 3.

Hm, NFS Hot Pursuit (2010) was actually pretty fun.
Gran Turismo, hell yeah.
