So I really want minecraft on my computer but I can't figure out how to get one without a Mojang account. I asked my friend how to make one and she said not to use mojang for some reason. I really want a minecraft account please help!
I'm wondering how to get mincraft to download while using windows 8. When I go to download the program from the website it never gives me the option to save the download, and instead automatically runs it. When using windows 7 though I have no problem with this.
I updated my minecraft to 1.7.9 and now i get a crash at the start of the launcher. Please help! Here is the crash report:

Basically, I know a little about how to develop plugins for Minecraft's Bukkit API, and I was wondering if that would make learning Java slightly easier since I know a bit about an API.
I started a minecraft movie Youtube channel with my friends and recently uploaded our first video. I'd just like to know the methods and tips to advertising and slowly building up a stable base to the channel, increasing views and subscribers.
I have tried advertising it on other videos to no use (I wasn't disliked, just ignored. ) and we have created a Twitter account.
We know the basic tips like adding lots of tags, catchy title and description, etc but we'd like some info that we couldn't easily find in a 1 min Google search.
Does anyone have previous experience and tips to how they started themselves?

So i have a fairly new Computer, its a Pavilion HP. Heres the specs on what it says in my control panel:
Processor: AMD A8-5500 APU with Radeon(tm) Hd Graphics 3.20 GHZ
RAM: 8.oo (7.19 usable)
System Type: 64 Bit, x64 Based Processor.
I also run like 60-80 FPS when playing normal, and when i record i run 30( but that's what it recommends to play on). I have a 18/11 download/upload speed. I use obs. When i try to stream i get like 14 fps, is this normal? I need help to fix this, so if you can please help!
