My brother will play minecraft all day if possible and its becoming addicting. How can we add a time limit to this?
Hi, basically I used to get my Internet through my hotspot on my phone. But recently I got a new phone and it has a 2gb tethering limit/month. So, I'm looking into getting broadband. I will be using it for playing games online with friends (I generally only play minecraft on multiplayer) surfing the web, and watching and uploading (I upload overnight, so that's not an issue for me) to youtube. I was thinking of getting the 16mb unlimited plan. Bearing in mind I'm used to gaming over 3G giving me pings of around 100ms and a down speed of 5mb, which was almost sufficient, will that plusnet plan meet my needs? The nearest 'green box' (can't remember the correct name) is about 40m from my house, and the exchange is probably less than quarter of a mile from the green box.

I want to know if there are any other versions of minecraft like technic?
I'm dropping down from 1000-900fps on minecraft to 60 when i start recording (sometimes it goes down to 10 in a few seconds then goes up again to 60) I have vcsync off and all that ****. And turning frames per second on fraps doesn't work.
On my old computer i had around 100 fps, and when i started recoding i only went down to 90.Weird…
