I have minecraft on my computer, but when I try to open it to play
a pop up that says

comes up, is this safe to download. I don't want a virus on my computer

When using 16 chunk render distance on minecraft 1.7.9 (unmodded singleplayer) purple lines and jagged curves will appear in the distance. Do you know a setting in minecraft or the NVIDIA that will fix this.

I have a PC and it won't play minecraft and it says I should update my graphics drivers. I tried this a few times but it won't work. I think i'm doing it the wrong way but when I download the junk it says its up to date. Someone please help!

In my single player world pc I did a ton like built a house and mined and built houses for pets what could I do other than mine go to the neither and get horses and make potions what else could I do? Ill give you points if you have the best answer!
I just opened up a AMD computer and downloaded Minecraft. I tried it but it crashed. I was wondering if I needed Intel or something. It says my drivers are up to date and everything is fine.BTY my pc is a desktop and its windows 8 Build 9200 if need. Minecraft keeps crashing. I would like if someone could help me. Thanks!

Like minecraft goes through versions eg: 1.7.2 1.7.4 1.7.9. What is the difference? Is it the amount of code that was changed/added? Amount of time? Amount of resources?
How do I cook things. Also can you heat water?
