I'm looking to buy a new desktop computer (Preferably a PC, not a Mac) I'll be using it mostly for gaming (Minecraft, etc.) and some school work, such as Movie Making and Word Processing. I'm willing to spend around $1000 AUD. I would like it to run games very well on it and have some decent graphics. Lastly, could you provide a link to the PC?

I know this may sound like a pretty stupid question, but could it be possible to make a cake using ingredients found in the wild? When I say this, i guess i more want to know if it is possible to, like in minecraft, find various plants and animals that can be grown and/or harvested to create the ingredients for a cake? I know that minecraft is just a game and should not be taken to seriously, but I'm just really curious as to if this is possible. Any answer would be appreciated!

I built a cool Hotel for my villagers in minecraft and I want them to live in it but they won't they just try to go back to their village
Whenever I play ftb on minecraft, java uses up like 3,000,000 K memory in the task manager and my cpu and ram are at 90-100%. I don't have any other programs open. I also only have around 20 fps while playing. My computer has 6gb of ram and an AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor. I don't know what to do because I can't play with 20 fps. Someone help, I will chose a best answer.
I mean, in that game they can spend years building a city or whatever they like. They can gear their obsessive personality completely towards the game.
I would like to know what the most played video games are. I want to find a game i like. I liked league of legends and Dota… But i like more open worlds type of games Like minecraft. Hi, I'm having a hard time deciding between the two MacBooks. I will either buy a stock 13" rMBP with i5 2.4 GHz, 4GB ram, 128GB for $1349 or a upgraded 13" MBA with i7 1.7 GHz, 8GB ram, 128GB for $1349.
I'm a student who will use this for schoolwork and I play light games such as Minecraft, World of Tanks and League of Legends. I can only afford the price range of around $1400 which is why I have to decide between the custom air and stock pro. I'm aware of the pros and cons and I love the thinness, weight, portability and battery life of the air. I like the HDMI port and the retina display on the pro and from what I have read the air's display is "cheap".
My main concern is the processing power. I'm not sure which one would be more efficient. The i5 2.4 GHz, 4gb ram or the i7 1.7GHz, 8gb ram? On geek bench the i7 1.7GHz, 8gb ram gets better scores than the other.
Which one should I get?
