Browser says Java not installed when it is?

When I try to use a Java app, my browser says Java is not installed, though Minecraft is working just fine and I double checked just in case and Java IS installed. I tried making sure JavaScript is enabled in Chrome, and it is. How can I fix this?

P6310y HP PC Computer upgrade to radeon card?

First off. Specs:
AMD Athlon II X4 Quad-Core Processor
NVIDIA GeForce 9100 Graphics
1 Terabyte Hard Drive
6 GB DDR3 System Memory

Secondly I should state I'm 14 years old and have very little knowledge of computers past the internet and things on the computer.

Ok so what I want to do is upgrade my graphics card to a radeon due to my computer constantly overheating due to my graphics card struggling to run minecraft and other cpu intensive games.

What I would like to know how to upgrade my power supply in the computer and if the case is big enough to support a radeon graphics card, or what graphics cards would work with it that would be good for gaming.

Yes i know this isn't a gaming computer in the slightest. Thank you for taking your time to read my question.

Minecraft 14w31a command blocks?

In the snapshot 14w31a, command blocks recognize the names of items instead of their id. Andisite blocks were recently added, but andisite is just stone with a damage value. My question is, how do I use /set block or /fill to place blocks with a damage value? Tip: saying "I don't know" isn't helpful. Yes it has happened many times.

Multiple Minecraft Problems?

Added (1). I played Minecraft on a friend's account for years before I recently finally bought the game for myself. It was fine for about the first week then it stopped letting me use commands. As in I type / and it does nothing. I even reset the command key. Still nothing. Now the item bar keeps disappearing along with my cursor. I've logged in and out, quit the game, re installed the game and still nothing. I really wish I hadn't spent the money on the game I loved so much before now. Can anyone help?

Added (2). I've also e-mailed Minecraft support a couple of times with no answer, only to go back to the forum and see that my question had been deleted. This is seriously driving me crazy. All I want to do is play the game I paid for and love.
