I want to join my sister in her world so she opens the lan world thing and publishes it but when i go to multiplayer it the world doesn't show up or nothing!

the specs of my current laptop i'm not 100% sure on but here is the main 2 my CPU and video card CPU: Intel core I5-3210M 2.50 ghz quad core and video card is a radeon 7670m and my ram is 8GB if anyone cares however alot of my family art IT technicians (i'm quite good with pcs but not as good as them) they all say its good and stuff but i get low fps on just about everything including minecraft. (on minecraft vannila i get 25 FPS at medium settings) and yes i've wiped it about 100 times over it doesn't do anything thanks in advance for the answers

Added (1). the kind of performance i'm looking for is being able to run games like skyrim minecraft diablo 3 starcraft rust and things like that at medium to high settings (35 FPS is what i'm looking for however higher is usually better as far as FPS goes)

What computer should I buy? - 1

I just wanna be able to play games without lag and I don't want to build it. I have about 700$ to spend. I'm open to macs if they are with the wait for saving money. I like windows 8 and OSX so no problems there. I have a monitor and mouse I just need a keyboard and computer. I plan to play games such as Minecraft, Battlefield, and other steam titles. How to stop Minecraft from going full screen when it launches?

When it launches, it goes full screen. Because of that, the screen goes black and I can't do anything with the computer except shut it down. If you tell me "Ctrl, Alt, Delete" or "Press Esc" I will wring your neck.

Added (1). Thanks, Lenyung. But first it shows the Mojang logo, then goes full screen, leaving me with a black screen. Pressing F11 doesn't work either.

I think it's something with the display, because the game still runs. I know because I can hear the music that always plays at the title screen.

How to completely delete Minecraft from my Mac?

My Macbook Pro is fairly old; 2005. So When I open Minecraft, it goes fullscreen and I can't get it to minimize (or do anything for that matter) unless I shut down the computer. Is there a way to stop this, or completely delete Minecraft?
