My first ever pc build specs. Please give tips of how to improve?

I'm getting my first pc build. The games i will play are Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Series, Civ 5, Borderlands 2, League of Legends, Minecraft, GTA IV and possibly GTA V and Civ: Beyond Earth when it comes out. Here are my specs. Remember, I'm a first time builder.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G55 SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (i'm getting z97 cuz i mite upgrade cpu later)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 2GB FTW ACX Video Card or MSI R9 270X GAMING 2G
SSD: Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 230T Black ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU: Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter ( I will have to use this because i share my router with my parents)

So what do you think? I know this is kinda long list, but i just have some much concern for this build, since it's my first one. Which GPU should i get, gtx 750 or r9 270x? And is their anything extra i need to buy, such as cables for my gpu and ssd. And also, what resolution should i get for my monitor (1920 by 1080, 4k, etc)

Are there any real wilderness survival games?

Something like the forest or rust, without the need to kill zombies or players an such.Plus no horror! Btw minecraft ain't much of a survival so, yeah, don't be mentioning that please.
For platform it could from windows to android, anything really

My minecraft account isint working

I have tried to put my email and username and i have tried to change my password twise but nothing works! All its says that the account dosint exist or some thing like that and my brothers account works perfectly but i want my account back please help!

Is Athlon X4 750K good for gaming?

My new PC build has these parts:

-AMD Athlon X4 750K
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
-MSI A78M-E35
-Kingston Fury Black Series 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
-Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
-PowerColor Radeon R7 250X 1GB
-Corsair SPEC-02 ATX Mid Tower
-EVGA 500W ATX12V / EPS12V

How far would I be able to overclock the CPU? I don't need max settings at 1080p and I don't mind medium to low on 1080p or 720p, I want to play TF2, Minecraft, Watch Dogs, Goat Simulator and Titan Fall.

How to see how long I have been recording?

I record Minecraft for YouTube and I've noticed my vids are getting around 30+ mins long. How do I check how long I've recorded for? I hate editing (unless I have to) to shorten down vid time, I've tried my iPod stopwatch to start/stop when I do, but I often forget/ iPod runs out of battery. I've tried to find an online stopwatch that can be key bound with my stop/start record button (F6), but couldn't find one. I like having and intro/outro so having a long episode and splitting it wouldn't work for me.

Setblock command in Minecraft 1.7.10?

Ok I'm doing a parkour on minecraft and I really need to clear a whole mass of land. I found out about the /setblock command but it only clears one block a time and thats Really useless. I want to clear land like in worldedit, one point to another point and bam cleared land
