Windows 8.1 Laptop Lagging?

I have recently wiped the hard drive. I had to put in another hard drive. I will use minecraft as an example, but I used to be able to run even small modpacks with good fps (around the 30's). However, now I have even more space on the hard drive and I can't even play the basic game with terrible graphics and everything on low. (I'm only getting 15 fps at the most) Needless to say it is impossble to run any modpacks as the basic game is not playing as well as it should be. The specs aren't brilliant but should run minecraft WELL. I have updated everything and even turned off background programs, I run with battery set to performance and the computer set to performance. I have also disabled any 'graphical' options like shadows on windows and things like that.

Added (1). I have also allocated minecraft more RAM, I think about 5.

Added (2). I think I should say that I have downloaded some VERY nice looking apps from the windows store, and they run perfect. The graphics are comparable to console and it runs smoothly. Yet it can't play minecraft with normal settings?

Hilarious Gamer YouTubers?

So, I'm looking for hilarious gamer youtubers. Youtubers similar to DashieGames, Tobuscus, Smosh Games, RunJDRun, TheGamingLemon, and EatMyDiction1. I really love watching different gameplays/playthroughs that are hilarious. I also enjoy watching LCPDFR youtubers such as Bay Area Buggs, and Jeff Favignano.

Any suggestions?

How to expand memory and speed up my Hp Pavilion G6?

About 2 months ago, i bought an Hp Pavilion G6 and its very pleasing, but I want a way to speed it up (decrease lag) and increase its memory, is there a simple way to do this? I play a lot of Team fortress 2 and minecraft which is the main reason I want to make it faster.

Please READ THIS BEFORE ANSWERING.
Things that can help you think of one:
1. I'm a girl
2. I like fawns, foxes and pikas (not pikachu) i like fawns the most
3. I want it to be cute, short and sweet (not too girly)
4. I would prefer a username without numbers (if you HAD to incorporate a number, then my fav number is 8)
5. I would LOVE it if you could come up with one incorporating the animal 'fawn' in it, as i love fawns and i would like my username to have 'fawn' in it.
Other things i like:
Nature, watermelon, lavender, lilac, daises.
Please try and suggest more than one. Thanks.
Btw; i thought of 'itsfawn' but i think its a bit too plain, so many you can jazz it up a bit?

I need info about the minecraft premium account…
can I install minecraft with the same account in 2 different PCs? And (only to confirm) can I play with the 2 computer concurrently with the same account? Thank you for the answers.

Minecraft lan not working 1.6.4 after internet shut off?

I was playing lan yesterday and my internet shut off and i got back on the internet and loaded the world up and opened it to lan and my brother couldn't connect any ideas?
I've tried the firewall allowing programs and stuff, the removing java and reinstalling, shutting off internet, i just couldnt get it

Could these computer parts play Minecraft, GTA 5, Sims 4, CoD, Watch Dogs?

I'm buying computer parts in a week, and I'm building the computer myself. I'll list the most important parts: Intel Core i5-4460 Soc 1150, MSI B85-G43 GAMING, s1150, D3, S3, U3, Corsair CX430 PSU, 430W, CX Series, GTX760 and 8 gigs of RAM with a 23.8 inch monitor. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me how I could run the games listed.
