Internet, What's up with 'Java Runtime Environment' update?

The box recently pops up on my screen when I get online or shortly thereafter. It stops the screen and gives me only the choice to download now or ask later (sometimes it doesn't even say ask later).
If I click 'ok' my computer says…'Java Runtime Environment is not normally downloaded and could harm this computer! Click 'cancel' now.
I have 'Java' among my programs since 2009, but have no idea what it does.
P.S. The 'Microsoft' logo appears behind the 'Java download now' box but can't be accessed.
Explanations please?

Should I buy a laptop? What to look in for one?

I'm in grade 11 and this Christmas I was thinking of asking my parents (if it isn't too much) to get me just a laptop for christmas. But should I wait until next Christmas, because I'd like the laptop to last me through college as well and I'm not sure if it's too early to get one or not.

I'd like one decent but not too expensive… Preferably able to run Minecraft well and maybe the Sims?

Added (1). Not interested in Apple computers… To expensive for what I'd use it for.

Added (2). Also, the laptop I'm using now CAN run both games but lags like hell. I meant with good FPS:')

I'm 16 I have no one, I have no future i'm done. No girl will ever like me, I'm a disappointment to my family i wish i could just go a different country alone and devote my life to something but i can't. I have considered hanging but it looks and feel painful are there any other ways that arent painful.

Switching from 1.7.10 to 1.8 from Minecraft?

If i switch my profile from 1.7.10 to 1.8 will it load all my stuff and place, along with the rabbits and Ocean monument?

Added (1). What do you mean by unloaded chunks, I have read that rabbits are just introduce to 1.8 and above. So i don't know what to do. Still a newbie in this

Which group related to COD do you stand in?

A large portion of the gaming community (Not all) have most likely played or still play COD. There divided into three groups!

Group 1 COD Haters: people who used to play COD or never played it and currently hate it for some reason. Some may still play it for some reason.

Group 2 COD Fans: people who like or love the game and enjoy playing it. I myself stand in this group because it's a fun and addicting game.

Group 3 Ex/Former COD fans: People who neither like or hate COD and who used to play it but not anymore because he or she lost interest for some reason. Or people who still play it but they don't enjoy it as much as they used to.

Which group do you stand in? There are no wrong or right answers people it's all opinion.

Problema al iniciar minecraft?

Hola, instale java reciente, cambien OpenGL 2.1 y no soy premium en minecraft, todo lo hice en base a tutoriales en internet y aun asi no me lanza al juego sino que se queda en el launcher y la consola me dice esto y no sa nada de eso no se que hacerProblema al iniciar minecraft
