MINECRAFT: Mobs Are Black?

Every time I start up Minecraft today, mobs have appeared completely black to me, absolutely no color.

I should state that I'm using a resource pack and shader pack.

The mobs aren't always completely black, but it's not fun to have to constantly relaunch the game hoping it will work next try.

Anyone know a fix to this?

Added (1). I don't think the packs are the problem.

Added (2). I've turned off both packs and played Vanilla MC, the problem still occurs. All mobs, creatures, etc., even treasure chests, are pure black.
I repeat: the packs are not the issue.

So I've recently decided to start a gaming YouTube channel, (because there's not enough, right? [that was sarcastic]) and I understand that in this age of YouTube, standing out can be hard, especially in such a populated category as gaming. However I'm just looking for some tips on how to get started.
