I have put endless hours into creating a world on minecraft that has massive structures and beautiful buildings. However, after I downloaded an update, I tried to load the world and nothing came up. I was spawned into a world with NOTHING ON IT. This made me furious, so I went into system>storage>games>minecraft>worlds, and it said the world was saved. I was confused af, and I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?!
Is there any way to disable certain keyboard shortcuts? The reason I want to is that when I press control (ctrl) and escape (esc) together, it brings up the start menu. This is annoying because when I'm playing minecraft, I have sprint set to ctrl and menu set to esc as default and if I'm running and want to open the menu, I press ctrl and esc, obviously, which then causes the start menu to come up causing minecraft to be minimised (Become one of the windows in the background so I can't see it). This is extremely annoying and has happened to me numerous times whilst playing online. Is there any way to disable this shortcut?
So my friend and I are building the town like thing but its all enclosed in a giant structure. So far I have about 4 fully furnished apartments, a church, small hospital, tavern, grocery store, tailor, black smith, and a fountain. What else should I add?

I play Minecraft 1.9 and 1.9.2, but everytime, drops look like stone. Even when I switch resource packs, it looks like stone. Anyone know why?

Ok so when i see diamond, gold, and redstone in minecraft, I try 2 break them with the stone pickaxe, but they just shatter… And i don't get anything, am i supposed 2 use an iron pickaxe or something? I'm sorta new 2 the game

Camtasia Trial (Cost 325$ USD and records 1 snapshot a second, so really, really, bad quality)
HyperCam2 (Captured a snapshot then stopped)
Bandicam Trial (works for minecraft ok, but has watermark, and cod mw3 is really big game, so nope.)
Action (Can't remember what happened)
SmartPixel (My pc is too low-end)
ShadowPlay (PC couldn't even download it)
And alot more i don't remember…
