How to fix Minecraft taking to long to load on the regular dirt load screen?

I have 2 ways that may work:
-In your profile on the launcher, click edit, then in the very bottom option change the number in "-Xmx#G" (I would recommend just going to 2)

If this doesn't work, open Minecraft, open your task manager, right click Java.exe, go to details, right click Java.exe again, set priority to whatever you want. (If you have nothing else open, I would go with realtime) Get more ram, then dedicate more ram to Minecraft, get an SSD, you know, just upgrade your pc.
