Minecraft: drops look like stone?

I play Minecraft 1.9 and 1.9.2, but everytime, drops look like stone. Even when I switch resource packs, it looks like stone. Anyone know why?

I would either delete Minecraft and then redownload it or report a problem to Minecraft website for help.
