I've already downloaded minecraft on my Mac and I have noticed that it runs smoothly and I want to download some mods to my game. I don't plan on downloading any other games or programs and I just intend to use my Mac for the game and internet. Would it mess up the speed of my computer or would it be able to handle a couple of mods? Thanks for taking the time for reading and for any answers you might have!

What specs are the macbook? I also can't imagine a few mods slowing anything down. Minecraft is a pretty simple game. The only thing you would have to worry about is if the mods themselves contain any malicious software.
