MacBook Pro.

They look better than the MacBook Air, have more powerful specs and would be a lot better for playing games like Minecraft.

I know you said you want an apple laptop, but just throwing this out there… Apple is an overrated/priced brand, and you would do much better to get literally any other brand. For the same price, you could get 2x the computer, but the con of that is that you won't have the brand name. But, at the same time, you wouldn't have to worry about if your laptop can run most games when you are up in the Macbook's prices

If you know for sure that you want an Apple, regardless of any other good machine out there, I would suggest one of the newer Macbook Pros. They run much better than the Macbook Airs, as the person who answered before me already said.
