My daughter (9 years old) wants a computer for xmas to play games on. So far she's mentioned skyrim, wow, and minecraft. I know nothing about computers so any suggestions on what this computer would need to have would be great. Trying to spend less than $500
Suggestions on what requirements for a PC I would need for my daughter to play skyrim and wow on?

Find an "APU" desktop. Typically the processor will be A8-**** or A10-****. The processors are built with better integrated video cards than any other kind.

Many machines can play the games, the failing point on most is the Video Graphics dedicated memory.
You Do need a machine that meets these requirements for Skyrim.
