Are these settings/specs enough to run Minecraft well? (I want to use the shader mod too)
It's a MacBook Pro 13 inch with Retina Display but I plan to customize it to this:
2.8GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
128GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
Please don't recommend some other laptop or something I just want to know.

^^ For minimum settings yes they are. Your Mac will have an Intel Iris Graphics and Minecraft requires Intel GMA 950 or better (minimum requirements). You can play your game at low settings at most. As for processor, RAM, harddrive space, you meet those criteria.
