What's the newest vershion of minecraft and what are the system requirements?

Minecraft Java is currently at 1.12.2 and it requires some pretty low stuff to run it. Minecraft WIN10 edition doesn't require much either. If your buying a pc just make sure the CPU is nearing the speeds of an i3, 4-6 GB of RAM and has something like Radeon E2 or Intel HD graphics.
