I'm trying to download minecraft on my macbook and everything runs smoothly until it launches then it says "please fix the error and restart!" i tried everything. I don't know what it means when it says Minecraft can't download when it is being forced. I have an account but i can't download it.

I don't know how or why this would happen, but here is what I would do.
Drag your saves file and resource packs file (if you have any) to the desktop from the application support folder in the library (hold alt key and hit go in the top bar when on finder). Uninstall minecraft (delete all the files and drag the application to the trash), then reinstall it. After that is done, replace the saves and resource packs files with the ones on your desktop. It should work then.
