Xbox One: should I get it?

This summer, I'm going to work and I'm going to make well over enough money to buy myself the new generation console "Xbox One". Afterward, I'm going back to school, starting a new year. The thing about It is it's 500 bucks and is it really worth it to spend all that money? My family member told me he may purchase one. He's in college and lives in another state so I got astonished when he told me because I thought it could be a way for us to reconnect while he's gone and play video games. Video games with him is crazy fun and especially Minecraft by Mojang which I heard was set to release on the Xbox One this August. Not only that, but a lot of my great, close friends also have the console. I'm currently on last generation console "Xbox 360" and yes, I still have a variety of great friends on it, but it gets boring and I want a feel and excitement for something new. I'm a fan of video games and if I do purchase the Xbox One should I also attempt to get a game recorder and start making videos and try beginning my own channel? My friend(s) have one and they have 1k+ subscribers so it'd be cool working with them. So will it be worth is or should I just waste it on other stuff. Examples: watches, clothing, airsoft. Opinions of the console please.

I've reviewed One Exclusive Video Game for both Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4. Guerrilla Game's Killzone: Shadow Fall for Sony's PlayStation 4 and Capcom's Dead Rising 3 for Microsoft's Xbox One.

Guerrilla Games's Killzone: Shadow Fall has Brilliant Visuals and is a technical Masterpiece for Sony's PlayStation 4 with Interesting variety during Levels, Killzone: Shadow Fall uses the mechanics within Sony's PlayStation 4 Controller during Audio Logs which are very well done. But there are a few problems within the Game, the Game Mechanics are mediocre First Person Shooter that we've seen a lot before. There are a lot of Wave type levels and a lot of padding through out levels, which is made even more difficult with the Objective Marker that blends into the surroundings. When I reviewed Guerrilla Game's Killzone: Shadow Fall I gave it an Mediocre 5 out of 10, not really worth your purchase.

Capcom's Dead Rising 3 was a masterpiece, Visually & Gameplay wise. I didn't have a single issue with Capcom's Dead Rising 3, when I reviewed the Capcom's Dead Rising 3 I gave it a well deserved 10 out of 10 and well worth your purchase.

Microsoft's Xbox One & Sony's PlayStation 4 are exactly the same, for those who still haven't caught on the Microsoft Kinect does not have to be connected to Microsoft's Xbox One and is optional although it comes with the console unlike Sony's PlayStation Camera. Which explains the Price changes between the two consoles, it all depends on the Video Games you want. There are more actual Exclusives on Microsoft's Xbox One then there's Sony's PlayStation 4, most of Sony's PlayStation 4 games will be ported to Microsoft's Xbox One (Final Fantasy/Kingdom Heart III). It is up to you and what Exclusives you want, do not listen to the Conspiracy theory hype.

A waste, next gen consoles aren't worth it and are boring. I have the XboxOne. Wish I would have kept my 360 for another year.

No, I don't think you should go for the Xbox ONE unless you have a lot of cash to waste.
The 360 will not go outdated for still a few more years.
Both the PS4 and the One are high priced and are actually not worth it.

Cheers mate.
