Xbox hdmi cable curiosity?

What exactly can you do with an hdmi cable connected to an xbox?

I know you use it for better quality graphics
and that you can use it for split screen minecraft.

but what other fun things can i do?
can i connect it to my laptop to do stuff etc?

There are no "fun" things to do aside from getting better picture quality

You can't connect it your laptop unless your laptop has an HDMI input port. Output ports can't be used as inputs.
