Which laptop should I get?

Hey I'm a student in high school and I want to buy a laptop. My budget right now is $600 but I can save longer and spend more. I would be using this for schoolwork, browsing internet, and possibly video editing for my xbox 360 and/or next gen console. I won't be gaming on it as far as FPS but possibly just random games and minecraft. So if anyone as any suggestions and input, it would be greatly appreciated! My price range is $500-600 right now but I can save up and get a more expensive one in the future.
