I'm getting a new laptop, which should i get?

I'm thinking about the HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15.6 Touch Screen Laptop - 4GB Memory- 500GB Hard Drive Anodized Silver/Sparkling Black. I don't want something over $500 and i'm ganna go to best buy for it. I would like to know how well it would let me play games in it like minecraft or the sims. And if it lets me download games from the internet. Besides playing games, i just go on facebook and youtube. Other info would be great.

Added (1). it says on best buy that the features are "AMD Elite Quad-Core A8-5545M Accelerated Processor with AMD Radeon HD 8510G graphics" and "Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit operating system preinstalled" plus "AMD Radeon HD 8510G graphics" with "Built-in 1x1 high-speed wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n)" and lastly "ENERGY STAR certified". There was more but i just put those because i didn't know what they actually meant

What graphics card does it have built in, if it has an additional card such as an nvidia one then it will run games really well however if it just has hp graphics then you will probably not be able to run graphics intensive games. You could always put a graphics card in, but for that you require the correct motherboard so you would have to ask someone who works in the store whether or not the laptop would be able to host an additional graphics card and if so, what sort of card.

You haven't told us what CPU it was. And since you said it was $500 I'm assuming it just has Intel integrated graphics.

However, most Intel CPU's will be able to handle Minecraft and Sims on normal settings. And with a 500GB Hard Drive, that'll let you download plenty of games.

Computers

Don't buy anything apple, or windows 8. Windows 7 is the best operating system. Nothing is better. So to answer your question, if that laptop is windows 8, don't get it.
