Things keep spawning in my house and it is Really annoying? (Minecraft)?

I have a cabin that I thought was safe but apparently it isn't… It is 100% lit up with torches but zombies and skeletons spawn in my house. I KNOW it is lit up. And my doors are always shut! And this is on my Xbox so zombies can't break threw the doors… Urgh-.-

Anyone know what may be causing this?

Will connecting to xbox live delete everything?

I don't have xbox live but my friend said i could connect to there internet to update my system and games. I just want to update my minecraft to TU14. Will this delete all of my other data and profiles. If so how can i prevent this.
