My friend and I are making a YouTube channel and we're somewhat clueless as to how to film our content. We're doing Black Ops 2 videos and it gives you the option to live stream. Does this work without a recording device? Can you do the same for Black Ops 2 zombies and Minecraft?

For Xbox you can use the livestreaming option but only in games that have that option and it won't be uploaded to YouTube it would be uploaded to a livestreaming website like http://www.twitch.tv/....twitch.tv
The ideal way to record any console footage is to use a capture card. Search online for one that fits your budget but I would recommend a HDPVR as although they do have a slightly higher price tag than others the quality of footage is great and the files you record are not too big. Once you have a capture card you have to set it up to record but I wouldn't worry because there are multiple different tutorial videos on YouTube on how to set each one up and they are usually very simple.
