Would a computer with these tech specs work and run smoothly with DayZ and The Sims 4?

Your computer definitely won't be able to run DayZ, as the integrated GPU is too weak, however you should still be able to play the Sims 4. You should also note that with that laptop you won't be able to play pretty much any game AAA game post 2007 that have decent graphics or use any form of lighting. You'll only be able to play games like Sims, Minecraft and maybe certain RTS's like Civilization V, however even with those games the graphics settings will have to be low as your CPU is also weak.
