Yes you can, remember to dedicate more RAM to minecraft as it uses Java which is RAM dependant. By default it is set to 1GB so it doesn't run too great. Dayz and Sims will use as much RAM as needed and your specs are good so you should have no trouble running them.

Google can you run it. Use the website and install the plugin,. Then you can get detailed results every time you need to see if you can run a Game without having to look at system requirements. I might sound like I'm advertising but i use it all the time on my hp pavilion touchsmart ( its not the best for gaming)
