What will my new PC support?

Well, my new PC is completely clean, wiped fully, and i chose this especially for gaming, the fact that is has a dual core tells me its will be good for gaming, and the 3 gb ram, but i'm mainly stuck on an opinion for my graphics card. I hear the radeon make good graphics cards.

My questions are simple though. What types of games will my PC support (minecraft, Battlefield 4)? Is my graphics card, RAM and processor what effect my gaming experience? Windows XP, 7 or 8 for gaming?

Added (1). What would you recommend if my PC isn't good enough?

You will be able to run minecraft pretty well but not battlefeild

You will be able to play Minecraft, but you won't be able to play Battlefield 4. And in my opinion you can't play many games on this PC, I think you can play Battlefield 2 fine. COD 4: Modern Warfare. Your graphics memory is not good, the whole GPU not good. Processor speed is OK, it would be better if you tell more about processor. For more information on which games you can play I recommend this website: http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
You can automatically test which games you would be able to play.

I would build my own pc for around £300/$500 and get medium settings on games like Battlefield 4, I don't recommend buying a pre built system because they are not built for high end gaming and would cost you £1000/$1700 for a low end pc that could only run games like Minecraft.
