Try building a huge wizard tower, or an enormous tree with a treehouse at the top

Try avoiding over used structures like popular landmarks and castles. I'm currently working on a building my village. I've taken a few pictures and I'm using Google Maps as a rough estimate on a scale for my build. It is perfect for a project to do and is very unique, I highly doubt someone has made your street/town on Minecraft. Plus it's something that doesn't take a few hours, I play a few hours after college and hoping it lasts me till the end of my term.

Get a life. Play street hockey or something.
