Desktop or the Laptop?

I could either build a desktop or get a laptop. The thing is that it is for my birthday and I'll have to pay a portion of it and has to be <$1100.

What I'll need it for:
- 3D Rendering(At Least for MC Animations)
- 50-60 fps gaming during recording on games like Minecraft
- Video Editing
- Game Development

I tried to get it to $1000 or less, if you can do that thanks! Also, I'll purchase a mechanical keyboard in the future(if I get to build it). You can see that it is called v0.5, that is because this isn't even it's final form.

Compared to my friend these are nothing, he started off with a $1500 build now altogether it's over 2000. Oh and btw, we're <16, but I have 4 years of coding experience, 3 in 2D animation, and 2 in 3D animation(but I slacked). Should I also include that I have a talent for music(piano and vocals)?

Laptops perform just as good you can attach a second monitor & they are quieter.
I stick to laptops these days, to build a desktop is a waste of money and time

You'll want a desktop for your needs. No sense trying to buy a laptop since those will be way more.
