Can you have skins on Minecraft Picket Edition?

Mojang doesn't let you officially, but you can do it for single player like this:
1) get iexplorer and plug it into your iPad
2) go to the minecraft file and find the file with all the textures
3) get the skin you want and rename it 'char'
4) drag the skin into the folder and click replace when it asks you
5) go onto the game and go on behind view! Enjoy!
it should work but if it doesn't its not my fault
