If you get achievements while you don't have Wi-Fi in windows 10 edition of minecraft, do you get them when you have Wi-Fi?

I'm connected to my xbox account in the windows 10 edition of minecraft. I made a nether portal, and the achievement didn't show up. I checked my achievements on my xbox profile and it still was locked. Then I realized my Wi-Fi was off. I did a lot of achievements. I did cover me with diamonds and the nether portal one.
