Where can i buy a minecraft server NOT RENT?

If you're running on Windows and just want to set up a server easily, download minecraft_server.1.7.4.exe and run it.

If you want to run the server on any other OS or without GUI it's a bit more involved (see this wiki article for a tutorial). First make sure you can use java from the command line. On Linux and Mac OS X this should already be set up but on Windows you might have to tinker with the PATH environment variable. Download and run minecraft_server.1.7.4.jar with java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui.

Unfortunately, that's not possible, unless it's to do with your friend or something. There are some free ones, but those are terrible in my opinion. I really want one too, as I wanted one with as few problems as possible and a one-time payment.

Like what terry said, you can host your own server. Just make sure it's on another computer or a good computer, not on the same one as you will experience some fps drops (unless your PC is good). You can look up hosting your own minecraft server on youtube or on the minecraft wiki.
