Minecraft Windows 10 Edition - use custom world for server?

Tried copying & pasting a world into the worlds folder in the server folder but I can't get said world; it keeps reverting to the original Bedrock Server world

First, make sure you're utilizing the Bedrock Dedicated Server software (available at ) for this… I know it seems obvious, but as there's two different servers (the other being for the Java Edition)… It bears noting.

Second, you'll need to open up the server.properties file (it can be opened with your preferred text editor, but you could use notepad or wordpad in a pinch) & modify the "level-name"attribute to match the world folder name (which should be located in the same directory as the server software) to find the world you're looking for.

If you're missing the server.properties file, you might want to launch the server software for a minute (just start it up, then shut it down) to initialize everything (& have the server create the server.properties file with all the defaults).
